Gin & Cocktail Bar The original 1840s sandstone walls of the building Frank Mac’s now occupies a 120-person capacity bar which flows from outdoor seating on George Street, across two levels and into a back courtyard. Whereas the downstairs space feels cosy and intimate, dotted with vintage leather banquettes, dark jade and light orange velvet armchairs, low tables and a fireplace, the ground level you’ll walk into off George Street will reflect the energy of the bartenders working behind the almost five-metre-long oak bar. The staff at Clam Bar made last night so memorable for us all. The table was perfect - a booth in the back of the restaurant that comfortable sat us all. Felt like we were in downtown New York amongst the wood panelling and jazz music. The service was wonderful, the food exceptional. We will be back.

Amazing experience, we had the tomahawk and it was seriously impressive. Best steak EVER and the broccolini and halloumi salad like a taste sensation! So good!! It was busy but we felt like we were the only ones there, the service was excellent, even my 11 year old was treated like a VIP. Was just a fantastic experience all round. We will be back 😁

Loved our Happy Hour visit to the Doss House. Our server Lulu recommended a custom whiskey flight and mixed drinks which were delicious. The bartenders are creative & knowledgeable. Try to reserve a table because the ambiance of the Doss House is best experienced inside. We just enjoyed drinks here and it was a wonderful kickoff to our evening. It is a bit pricey but worth it for the experience.
