Best Date Night Restaurants in Thorner

We ordered French onion soup, pork cheek to start which was delicious. Me and my partner both had the fillet steak with truffle and Parmesan fries, onion rings and mac n cheese everything was 10/10 no faults. Steak cooked perfectly. For desert I had the baked Alaska and my partner had sticky toffee pudding both were fantastic! Jonathan our server was amazing too!

My grandson had pizza , and he said it was lovely, My husband had steak as always when we dine here , I had a lasagna which was outstanding , Service is impeccable along with the ambiance and atmosphere, Carolina who booked us in and served us was just so polite cheerful, help in every way making my grandson his first time at Lucia an amazing experience, we just love Lucia and travel from Norfolk just to dine with you guys. 😃🥰

I booked a table for Valentine’s Day around 5 months ago now and WOW this food did not disappoint! I got the carbonara whilst my partner got the beef ragu pasta. Although both were absolutely gorgeous (and definitely some of the best pasta I’ve ever eaten) I definitely had food envy from my partners plate haha! We started with the focaccia and trio of butters which was stunning, and I must not forget to mention how good the home made lemonade is!! As a huge pasta lover this is HEAVEN for me. I’d also like to thank our server (I’m unsure of his name but it was a young man with curly hair and a blue jumper) as he was AMAZING all evening. He was very attentive, explained dishes on the menu thoroughly and overall gave great customer service with a smile! Please ensure he gets the praise he deserves for this because I can hands down say that’s some of the best service I have received in years and that should be recognised!! Thankyou again x

Service was exceptional. Very professional. The food quality is exceptional. We both had Branzino which was beautiful ly prepared and fresh. I thought the price was “top end” with a single course for two costing £84.00. Just on the limit!

I loved visiting Sukhothai. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming, and I enjoyed the cheerful ambience - proof that it's a consistently popular venue. We shared the Dim Sum platter for a starter, which was especially delicious, and the Mango and Sticky Rice dessert was also a favourite! We didn't have anything to drink beyond tap water, but we really loved the attentiveness of the staff in keeping our glasses full. A great experience, and we'll definitely be back!
