- GGordonChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoI reserved a special from Mercadito called "Amor y Sabor" and boy it did not disappoint. The ambiance was very chill and the music was not too loud. Our waitress was very nice and attentive with us. The food was fantastic it consisted of a 4 course meal. It began with a shot of tiger de leche (Peruvian cuisine). Then we had a choice of camarones ceviche which was super tasty and flavorful. After that, we had queso Birria tacos with the dip and that was also delicious. Next but not least, we had some nice and tender strip steak which was perfectly cooked and was easy to chew. Our night was capped off with some churro desert and a glass of champagne. Overall an awesome and exciting experience and would highly recommend it!More infoMercadito - River NorthPrice: Expensive• Mexican• River North (Chicago)•4.6
- EEricDetroit / Eastern Michigan •3 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoFood is excellent. I was hoping for a bit more from the front of house. Valentine’s Day is a busy night and there I am happy to receive service from the bartender. I also could have navigated the menu better on my own end, but above and beyond service might have helped deliver an elite dining experience.More infoavec West LoopPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• West Loop•4.8

- RRenneVIPChicago / Illinois •8 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoHad a wonderful time. We checked in for a birthday dinner, and the hostess inquired whose birthday it was and greeted the birthday boy warmly, as did our server when she came to our table to greet us. Everything was delicious. We had the Prosciutto and warm bread, fried artichokes, rigatoni amatriciana, the NY strip and the roasted romanesco. Highly recommend the artichokes and the rigatoni, just outstanding. We had 2 cocktails, both delicious, and the pistachio gelato (one serving is enough for 2 people to share). They had 2 glasses of prosecco brought out for a birthday toast. We will definitely be back. The pricing is standardly high on the food side, but that is to be expected these days.More infoil CarciofoPrice: Expensive• Italian• West Loop•4.5
