Best Restaurants for Foodies in Fairview

First time going to Hawksworth. Originally went for the last day of their 1.50 oysters but when we arrived they said they were all out. Ended up ordering oysters anyways and the beef tenderloin, and both were absolutely amazing. The Fanny. bay oysters were melt in your mouth delicious and the tenderloin was cooked to perfection. We shared a 3 cheese plate as well to end the evening, and the blue cheese was next level! When the bill came, they actually ended up only charging us 1.50 for the oysters so overall, it was a fantastic experience! Can’t wait to come back!

A nice, fancy restaurant for a sit down dinner or special event. Service was a little over the top, but the meal was excellent and the ambiance is quite posh - despite the creepy paintings on the walls. Overall a nice experience!

One of mine and my daughter's favourite restaurants in Vancouver! The Food, the portion sizes, the atmosphere, the service. All exceptional. Nice small plates so we can try a few different things and share. Just dined there yesterday and already looking forward to our next visit.

Top-notch French-inspired cuisine. On par with what I would find at a good Montreal restaurant. I had heard ups and downs since Chef Feenie took over but the meal we had was better than Lumiere. We shared a burrata salad with local beets -- nothing otherworldly but fresh ingredients and tasty. Also shared the hamachi crudo which is apparently award-winning, and I can see why. I had one of the best duck breasts I have had in my life, with seared foie gras accompaniment to boot. My friend had the veal with morel sauce. Both were really top-notch. We sat at the bar and had very friendly and attentive service. Wine list is relatively small for this type of restaurant, and the bottom end of the price range is missing. We had the sommelier suggest a bottle of low-intervention burgundy which suited our food well. Atmosphere is very classic and not too loud. Overall a classy restaurant perfect for a business meeting, tete-a-tete, or a special occasion when you want to hear each other talk!

Excellent service from all serving staff for our business dinner on this occasion especially from our main server. Food was prepared first class with explanations for each dish. We will be back!
