- KKittyVancouver / British Columbia •197 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe love coming to Maxine’s during the holidays as their ambiance is so beautiful! The Christmas decor throughout the restaurant really puts you in a festive spirit. We ordered the eggs cocotte, smoked brisket croque madame, mini donuts, affogato and peppermint patty affogato (cocktail), and everything was delicious. It was a little loud with a fussy baby near our table, but overall, the experience was still really lovely. Our server, Nacha, was super friendly and took great care of us. We look forward to coming back soon!More infoMaxine's Cafe & BarPrice: Moderate• French American• West End•4.8

The food is divine, the menu has many favourites along with new items and the service is always amazing. (Merci Alexander!) My only wish is to have vegetables served with my meal. I had the tenderloin in a gorgeous peppercorn sauce. Next time maybe I need to read the menu better to see if we should have ordered sides. It came with pommes frites but I wishes it had some vegetables. I also enjoyed the mushroom soup to start and my husband had the endive salad which looked impressive and the special Beef Wellington served with asparagus. For dessert we had profiteroles with generous chocolate sauce. 5 star experience! Merci beaucoupMore infoLe CrocodilePrice: Very Expensive• French• Downtown•4.7
- KKateVancouver / British Columbia •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoIt was delightful. We were on our way to the airport and this was our last memorable experience of Vancouver. They took our bags and stored them for us and took us to a table with a view over the whole restaurant. (I only with the had an elevator to get to the mezzanine level where we were seated. Every bite of food was excellent and exceeded my expectations of the dish. Our server was there when we needed her and did not intrude "just to check in" like many do. It was a bustling place and we were delighted. We'll be back.More infoNightingalePrice: Expensive• Canadian• Coal Harbour•4.8
- MMariaVancouver / British Columbia •16 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoKevin provided us with impeccable service. Except there was dust coming from the ceiling onto our table and drinks. We requested for a change of table which Kevin did. It’s understandable that the noise level was extraordinarily loud coz of Christmas get together.More infoHy's Steakhouse VancouverPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.7

Today however, this was topped by the incredible service that Pat brought, by taking such good care of us. His suggestions really helped up the experience to a new level.
