- TThomasvipPhiladelphia County •21 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 4, 2024Welcoming staff, very nice ambiance, excellent food, superior service. We had early reservations after a matinee show at a local theater and were promptly seated. Keegan waited on us and explained the menu. He was knowledgeable down to the sourcing of the food and the preparation. I had local NJ oysters (Sloop from Barnegat Light that were perfect: medium size, plump, just the right chewiness and brine. Best I have had in quite a while. My entree was striped bass in carrot persimmon sauce, bok choi, and risotto. My wife had Nantucket scallops (ceviche) and a second stater of mushroom gnocchi. All of this was spectacular. I rarely write reviews, though we eat out a lot. This place stood out so much I felt I should share. I’m not related to the owner and they didn’t pay me for a glowing review. Give it a try. PS Dessert was Basque cheesecake with sour apple. Perfect finish!More infoFork - PhiladelphiaPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Old City•4.7
