- TTristanPhiladelphia County •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoGreat experience, great food! My dad has some food intolerances and they were so accommodating and attentive, it’s minor but was really wonderful they could accommodate. Made sure we knew what was in what dishes and it was super easy to order. Everything was fantastic and surprisingly large portions. Can’t wait to go again.More infoThe LovePrice: Expensive• American• Rittenhouse Square•4.8

It is so much more than that, though. As the founder was a major player in early 20th century opera recordings, The Victor Cafe has an opera theme permeating its soul. The walls are adorned with photos of the opera greats, opera music plays softly in the background, and, most importantly, the waitstaff are all classically-trained opera performers. Every half hour or so, they gather everyone’s attention to perform a selection from a popular opera, complete with a synopsis of the story they’re about to tell through their performance. Every performer was wonderful and this made for a unique, joyful and memorable experience for my family. I grew up on Italian cuisine, and this was among the best I’ve had in a long time. We shared the Calamari Fritti, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that we could have substituted Smelts for the calamari. This was a staple of our Christmas Eve dinners when I was young. My Veal Saltimbocca was perfect, as was my Daughter’s Prince Igor (penne with a vodka blush, salmon, tomato, and Asparagus). We enjoyed our cannolis while watching our last performance of the evening. Breathtaking! Special shout out to our server, Brenna, who took our dessert order mere seconds after completing her duet! Remarkable! I can’t say enough about The Victor Cafe; if you’re looking for a classic South Philly Italian Restaurant, paired with one of the most wonderful and unique experiences you’ll find today, then this is the place for you.More infoThe Victor Cafe - PhiladelphiaPrice: Moderate• Italian• South Philly•4.9
- DDeannaVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •10 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoLittle Water is a refreshing dinner spot offering a nice variety of seafood dishes. The service and pacing of the meal make this place shine - it is so relaxing to dine here! The staff keep glasses full. The pacing of the meal is excellent - they leave plenty of time for each dish to shine. Tables are spaced out nicely as well, further contributing to a relaxed dining experience. We had a 5:45 res on a Saturday night and stayed for about 2 hours as a party of 2 ordering apps, drinks & entrees. For a ladies night out, we tried the bread, swordfish crudo, Caesar salad & swordfish Milanese. Each course surpassed our expectations. The caesar salad was HUGE and delicious - definitely something you could split as a large side for 2 or a small side for 4. Excellent wine and cocktail selection as well. They also had some mocktails on the menu that looked tasty. Absolutely thrilled! Would return for a celebrationMore infoLittle WaterPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Center City•4.6

- NNicolePhiladelphia County •13 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoSo good ! From start to finish - excellent. Understated and underrated. Service ambiance and good quality all 5 stars. We order one main dish each and a handful of mezze items and sides like beets and basmati rice and fries. The fries were good but not great and out of everything we ordered, happened to be my least favorite. King salmon was my main course and was so delicious and flavorful - there was no stopping me from finishing it. I only recently came here for happy hour and once many years ago for dinner and I have to say, it was great to be back and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend.More infoSpice FinchPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Center City•4.8
