Best Restaurants for Foodies in Madras

Our experience at Brickhouse was everything we hoped for and more. Our server, Sam, was friendly and knowledgeable. The pace of our drink and food delivery allowed us to relax without waiting too long or feeling rushed. My husband and I really enjoyed the freshness of the beet salad (which we split) and the perfectly balanced dressing. I ordered the chicken Marsala, a generous portion of two tender breasts over noodles. The sauce was yummy! My husband ordered the osso buco and loved every bite. We splurged on dessert and shared the hula pie, a decadent slice of fudge topped macadamia nut ice cream set on a cookie crust and garnished with fudge sauce and whipped cream. The Brickhouse is definitely among my favorite restaurants in Bend!

We were greeted very quickly. Maddy was our server and she very upbeat, positive and attentive. We had the cheese burger, Mahi taco with clam chowder. Everything was hot and flavorful. We will definitely be back!

Food seemed a little lacking in flavors. Calamari was bland as was fish and chips. However, Chowder was great.

This was our second time at The Jackalope Grill, and they made such an amazing experience once again! From the politeness of the hostess, to the dazzlement of our tastebuds, and everything in between- it’s the best place in my experience for a beautiful romantic dinner with your partner. Last time we went, it was only us and a few other tables and much quieter. This was a Friday night, and everywhere was packed- but even with a full house I wouldn’t say it takes away from the experience at all. Beautiful food, delicious drinks, and our server Michael was a charm to have. Don’t be surprised at the prices, because it’s worth every penny. I would recommend reserving your table, and come hungry- you’ll want to try everything once you dig in. Thank you all at The Jackalope Grill, I can’t wait to see what’s on the menu next time!

Perfect cocktails, not icky sweet. The French fries were really good and the steak salad was fresh with a tender cut of steak. They treated my celiac guest with respect so they felt safe to eat gluten free. Friendly and knowledgeable servers and bartenders.
