Best Restaurants for Foodies in Sandy Springs

My friend and I randomly found this place while in the area. Hadn’t heard of it before but the pictures intrigued us. After a quick TikTok search we decided to try it. We did not regret it! Everything was really good from the food to the service. I got the Caribbean jerk lamb chops with a wildberry lemon drop and my friend got the fish and grits with a double shot of Don Julio. Dexy was our server and she was amazing. She was very attentive and has a great personality! It’s very aesthetic and they have a great music selection. I definitely will come back.

It is always a great time when I get to dine at Rumi’s it is an amazing staple and I love bringing people here to experience great food and great service…luckily I get to go weekly if not every other week I look forward to my next visit

Seated right away, staff remembered my birthday note and provided several services to make the birthday girl feel special. Our server was awesome, so nice, efficient and every order was perfect.

The Alden has an intimate setting which is perfect for a special night out or a culinary adventure. I was celebrating my best friend’s birthday and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, making the entire experience feel personal and welcoming. I’m no food critic, but I can recognize fresh, high-quality ingredients, and Chef Jared and his team delivered that in every dish—10/10. Sitting at the counter was the highlight; it’s the best seat in the house. You get to watch the chefs in action, adding a layer of entertainment to the evening. Each course was perfectly timed, creating a seamless dining experience. The combinations of ingredients and pairings were nothing short of fantastic. Some dishes featured bold and unexpected flavors that worked together beautifully. The quail and scallops were my favorites—flawlessly executed and deeply satisfying. I also appreciated the global influences woven into the menu, which made each dish feel like a small journey. And let’s not overlook the fact that Chef Jared is as talented as he is handsome—a fun bonus to an already unforgettable meal. They gave us a birthday treat to top it all off. I can’t wait to go back to experience other dishes.

We arrived to a full dining room, lots of holiday parties I suspect. Initially I thought service would be slow, but not the case at all. We had a wonderful waiter, Joseph, who has been with us before. As in the past, Joseph was on top of everything. All our requests were fullfilled and in some cases anticipated by thie outstanding man. The oysters were some of the best ever! The salads were crisp and dressed properly. Our entres came hot and delicious. My fish special, the halibut, was wonderful. Kaiser's was great!
