- YYvesRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMy wife and I had a quick getaway to Chicago for her birthday. OpenTable booking made it simple to make reservations and any changes. Heads-up, parking will be a challenge so I recommend using valet! Make a reservation ahead of time to guarantee seating. The staff were very great at anticipating the wait time and so we did for 30 min since we arrived earlier. We were seated at the chef’s table which neither of us expected, and was a treat to experience. My wife enjoyed every bit of the good chaos in the kitchen and watching Ted & Kishaun (apologies for typo), prep the food with passion. Service was great all the way around and all the staff were attentive - kudos! The food, this is by far the highlight of the night and the trip! Flavor at its fullest and the portions are ample for two. We had the best empanadas to date, the skirt steak was a hit, and the pork belly was delish. Wrap dinner with apple pie is a a treat on its own. Thank you for making our trip and birthday celebration a memorable one.More infoGirl & the GoatPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• West Loop•4.8
- HHeatherSeattle / Eastern Washington •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis place is fantastic! Don’t let the unassuming old school diner look fool you - food and service here were top notch. Took my bestie here for her first night out since having a baby and although we may not have, this place kept it classy! Our group of 4 arrived, having already imbibed, quite rambunctious and ready to take it further. The server handled us and the situation with grace. Yasmin was kind and patient as she took our order and played it cool when the topic of drinks came up. Without drawing attention, they kept the waters flowing and the fried appetizers coming. The food was a surprise and delight as each dish ordered arrived looking different than any of us had imagined. Potted carrots, frito misto, and the grapes in the ravioli were just a few of the delights. Was it the pre-game, or is this a fun menu? We may never know. That said, they didn’t make a scene when my friend lost her napkin 6x or had red lipstick on her face and hands, or when the new mom pulled the pumps off at the table. If you saw us, no you didn’t. While we eventually redeemed ourselves enough to be allowed 1 round of drinks with our pasta dishes, we left quietly and on our own accord, ensuring Yasmin was given an additional tip on top of the included 25% gratuity. Thanks for having us and treating us with care. We love you, Daisies!More infoDaisies ChicagoPrice: Expensive• American• Logan Square•4.7
- AAutumnvipCentral Texas •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAbsolutely incredible. We got a last minute reservation at the bar (luckily the one with backed seats). Ordered an array of cocktails, all delicious & well balanced. Our favorite dishes we’re still talking about were the potstickers and the goat slap noodles. But we also got the bao and the banana dumplings for dessert, and everything was exceptional. Unfortunately our server lacked in enthusiasm and personality, maybe having an off night, even our co-diners seated next to us noticed & commented. Luckily the food, cocktails, and other servers made up for it!More infoDuck Duck GoatPrice: Expensive• Chinese• West Loop•4.8

- SShianneChicago / Illinois •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI absolutely love this place - it’s one of my favs in the city. The food and staff is INCREDIBLE! A friend and I were celebrating getting into a top business school, and the staff went out their way to congratulate us. We got custom congratulations menus, a complimentary glass of champagne, and many congrats from the staff! Everything is shareable for the most part, except for the spaghetti! Order for yourself lol it’s just that good.More infoMomotaroPrice: Expensive• Japanese• West Loop•4.6
