August is a restaurant that sits in the old heritage church on Dornoch Terrace, West End. Our dining room is surrounded by objects, art, and the original pitched church ceiling and stained glass windows. Our menu is influenced by regional food from France, Italy and SpainAugust is open for dinner from 5pm on Wednesday - Saturday, and from 12pm for Sunday Lunch. Todd & Pup is located in the invigorated suburb of Moorooka. We accept bookings of 3+ groups. Anything under 3 please walk in. Dogs are welcome, you MUST book an 'outside' table, tables labelled 'regular' are indoor tables and we cannot have the pups inside sadly. We have lots of space and if you do need to wait for a table it is never very long. Our chefs run a seasonal menu, nighttime specialty burger menu daily sweet and savoury house-made bakery goods and weekly specials. Max and Marilyn made our evening with their exceptional service and attention to detail. Given the open plan, being seated near the kitchen was very loud and detracted from the intimate dinner we were looking for - as it was not really busy, might want to leave those tables for walk ins or when really busy. The steak was exceptional.

Excellent food on Sunday Lunch Sardine with fermented carrots on sourdough had balanced acidity The truffle stracciatella and hazelnuts/fresh figs was a cool dish with refreshing complexity Pork and cold iceberg was a brilliant Sunday roast On balance I would drop the music volume and mix it up on the playlist I will be back for excellent service and eclectic food.❤️😇
