Best Restaurants for Groups in Cleveland Heights

I only wish I was able to merge my happy hour bar bill with my dinner bill instead of having to pay twice

We had a very attentive waiter. Really enjoyed the “extras”. A sample of warm pasta before the meal and a fruit plate after. Everyone enjoyed their entree’s. Three of us ordered specials. All superb. Only one very small complaint…. The bread was not good. Although freshly baked… not good Italian bread. Love the old fashioned feel of this long standing restaurant!!

Always skeptical of a place that isn't completely vegan... but. The options (while not many) are SO GOOD. 10/10 the ecto burger (isn't the most beautiful thing I've ever been served but who cares really) is absolutely delicious. I'm always weary of jackfruit served as 'pulled pork' but this was worth the risk! The children of the street corn was also so so so good. The characters walking around (3 of them!) were really interactive and a lot of fun. 1,000% adds to the experience and I really appreciated it. Horror movies on every screen.. the playoff game was even on one of them! I didn't order and alcoholic drink (dry January) but my friend got the Beetlejuice. It looked really cool and she liked it a lot! I drove 2 hours for this and I WILL be back.

First time there last night for dinner. Early Saturday, not very full. Beautiful rooms, nice live piano music. Very good cocktails. Service prompt without being pushy. Our group had a variety of pasta, seafood, and meat dishes, and all was good. One person remarked that she felt we could be in New York, placing Johnny's a cut above Cleveland in general. I don't dine right downtown often, but this place is on the list for a return visit. Only complaint is the narrow selection of wine by the glass.
