- BBETTYWashington, D.C. Area •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe moment we walked into La Grande Boucherie DC we felt welcomed. The hostess at the entrance shared a little about the beautiful venue before seating us. PRETTY COOL BAR! Our waiter, Steven welcomed us again before introducing himself. His attention made our visit special, as well as the overall staff. We ordered the lobster bisque and the pear salad, the salmon and the steak frites and shared a cheesecake for dessert. We certainly enjoyed our food and dining experience. La Grande Boucherie in NY had already made a good impression on us when we organized a large gathering with family and friends. We appreciate Filip at the hospitaity team, Steven in DC and Izzetin in NYC. Thank you!More infoLa Grande Boucherie - DCPrice: Very Expensive• French• Washington•4.3

However, the professionalism and poise of the staff quickly turned things around, led by the exceptional hostess, Gianna. Her calm demeanor, thorough explanations regarding the Winter Wonderland Igloo seating delay, and ability to ease frustrations transformed what could have been a disappointing start into a positive experience. Inside, the ambiance was spectacular, thanks to the live piano, drummer, and a singer whose inspiring vocals filled the room. This musical trio set a romantic and elegant tone for the evening, creating an atmosphere that immediately lifted our spirits. Once seated, Daniel, our server, truly stole the show. His impeccable service and friendly demeanor helped reignite our excitement for the night. The food itself was a masterpiece—steaks cooked to perfection, seasoned expertly, and presented with artistry by the talented Trell. Each dish was a testament to the restaurant’s culinary excellence. Even the manager, Trent, went above and beyond, personally ensuring our experience met the highest standards. His leadership and genuine concern for guests were evident and greatly appreciated. The valet service, bussing crew, and everyone involved delivered outstanding service, rounding out the evening beautifully. A special shoutout to Becca staff, whose bespoke service continues to set this establishment apart. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction are why we continue to return time and again. Despite the rocky start, the professionalism, warmth, and skill of the entire team made this a Valentine’s Day to remember. Five stars all the way—thank you for creating such a magical experience!More infoBeccaPrice: Expensive• American• Virginia Beach•4.3
- KKristinaRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoService was outstanding, ambiance was exquisite. Seating was very comfortable. Prices are high but you are paying for the ambiance. Reminds me of eating in west palm beach. Very classy. Portions sizes were all good. I had the RH Bellini.. good flavor, tasty drink. Started with the crispy artichokes. They had good flavor. Was my friend's first time trying artichokes and he enjoyed them. Next, I had the the Branzino. Friend had the Ribeye. Not a ton of flavor. Expect more flavor for the price.. but still, not bad. Truffle fries and asparagus were both good. Finished with the butterscotch brûlée. Sweet and it was enough for us to share. Overall, we enjoyed the meal and experience. We went for lunch. We didn't have to wait and it wasn't over crowded.More infoRH Rooftop Restaurant at RH RaleighPrice: Very Expensive• American• Raleigh•4.6
- IIsaacToronto / Ontario •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoMy wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Chef Lee, who was incredibly kind and took the time to personally greet everyone. The staff were just as welcoming, demonstrating excellent communication and attentiveness. The atmosphere struck a perfect balance between modern elegance and cozy warmth. The course meal exceeded all expectations—each dish was thoughtfully designed with exceptional taste, creativity, and a seamless flow of service. The alcohol pairing was also expertly curated, enhancing the overall experience. What stood out most was Chef Lee’s dedication to sustainability in his restaurant. I recommend visiting the website prior to your visit to understand his intent with the non-profit org. His vision is truly inspiring, and I deeply respect his ambition. Highly recommended to everyone. - IsaacMore infoSHIA RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Korean• Washington•4.9
- SstewartWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThey have had since 1856 to perfect the art of service. They have not wasted a bit of that time. We had a server and he was fantastic. With that, the entire brigade worked as a fantastic machine and supported the goal of quick and perfect service for the guest. I have never had apps arrive so quickly at a restaurant before. I even threw another order in while ordering our main course and it was on the table 2 minutes later. The quality of the food is top notch as well. The roast beef sandwich had a bit of bite on it that was unexpected but definitely not unappreciated. As I was dinning with my 13 year old son tonight, I also appreciated the non alcoholic options on the drink menu. It was great to have a delicious option that wasn't a soda. Overall, this is a MUST for any visit to DC.More infoOld Ebbitt GrillPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown•4.8
