Best Restaurants for Groups in Praa Sands

We go to the Porthminster cafe around times a year travelling from Paignton using the railway as a, relaxing day out and the restaurant has never disappointed. We had the set lunch menu costing £34 each. I had the Smoked baked Haddock for starters and the Turbot with Sampfire for mains whilst my Wife had Asian Crispy Beef with Hand Rolled Riccotta for Mains and we both had A Chocolate Brownie with Pink Peppercorns for Dessert. Staff were so helpful as I have a few food intolerances and they were so accommodation! Have visited many times before and never had bad food or poor service!

We are regular diners at The Ugly Butterfly however due to illness, had not been able to go for a few months so it was wonderful to 'be back' and we had a wonderful time. Amazing food, fantastic service with the most beautiful view too. Asked what our favourite dish of the way was, impossible to say as it was all excellent.

1st time here, and what a treat x we had the most beautiful steaks, the service was amazing and it was just an all round wonderful experience x We will definitely be back x

We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas High Tea! From the first moment the staff were so friendly and welcoming, we were seated at a lovely table. They catered for our dietary requirements with ease, everything was delicious, we were in heaven. There was plenty to choose from and it was all fantastic quality. Your pastry chef is obviously very talented. The presentation of the hight tea was lovely and it really didn't disappoint, we couldn't find fault. The only thing I would say is that we should be able to add a tip if paying by card as your staff deserve one for their amazing service.
