Best Restaurants for Groups in Chesterfield

Absolutely fab meal for valentines, the restaurant was decorated beautifully. The waiter was very knowledgeable on all of the dishes and drinks. As a gluten free diet there was plenty of selection. Will definitely be returning soon.

I booked a table for Valentine’s Day around 5 months ago now and WOW this food did not disappoint! I got the carbonara whilst my partner got the beef ragu pasta. Although both were absolutely gorgeous (and definitely some of the best pasta I’ve ever eaten) I definitely had food envy from my partners plate haha! We started with the focaccia and trio of butters which was stunning, and I must not forget to mention how good the home made lemonade is!! As a huge pasta lover this is HEAVEN for me. I’d also like to thank our server (I’m unsure of his name but it was a young man with curly hair and a blue jumper) as he was AMAZING all evening. He was very attentive, explained dishes on the menu thoroughly and overall gave great customer service with a smile! Please ensure he gets the praise he deserves for this because I can hands down say that’s some of the best service I have received in years and that should be recognised!! Thankyou again x

Nice friendly restaurant pub Would recommend to the older generation

The staff were friendly and helpful. I asked for a quieter table as we were meeting a family member to discuss some problems. The member of staff immediately found us a quiet corner which made our evening just what we needed. The meal was excellent and we were served by their considerate staff.

The food here is very good. There is a good range of pies, all are delicious. On Friday we had fish and chips. On "Fish Friday" it is £30 for two. The fish was huge, with lovely crispy batter. There is a choice of chips or fries, and mushy or garden peas. They come with tartar sauce. The staff are all lovely. Really friendly and helpful. I have recommended this pub to friends.
