- DDeniseLas Vegas •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoTonight's dinner was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I was a little leery about going since I had a terrible meal when it first reopened under new ownership. Thought I'd be fair and try it one more time. TheChristmas decorations were beautiful both inside and out. Everything was delicious! We started out with calamari and fried mozzarella with a basil sauce; both were outstanding. I ordered a small caesar salad that was big enough for all four of us to share. All four entrees were delicious: pasta carbonara, seafood fra diablo, chicken parmesan, and fettuchine alfredo with chicken. We managed to squeeze in a little dessert. Unfortunately, they were out of the creme brulee, so we shared a tiramisu cake and cannolis. Entire meal was spectacular. We're already talking about going back again!More infoThe Venetian RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Italian• Hingham•4.4
- MMichelleGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe ambiance was nice though loud. The waiter was attentive and apologetic when the bar was backed up with our drinks. We had the oysters, goat cheese dip, the special of the day, and the filet mignon. The oysters were delicious and the goat cheese dip was fantastic though we could have used more crackers for it. The special was amazing and the filet was perfectly cooked and tasty. The only issue I can complain about is the "service fee" that was added to the bill that we did not expect. The bill explained: "As the cost of doing business in Boston has increased dramatically in the past couple of years, our ability to increase the wages of our kitchen staff has been limited. A 3% kitchen appreciation fee helps us offset that. If you would like to have this fee removed from your check, please let us know." I did not have it removed but thinking about it later, I may have them remove it in the future. We all have experienced increased costs, and I'm not sure the service fee added is the way to offset those costs as a restaurant. I might rather see them raise the price of certain meals or sides by $1 which would make it more clear what the final cost of the meal is. For me, it was not about the actual money (which was only about $5), more about the unexpected add-on of the fee. Anyhow, we will be back to enjoy the delicious food and lovely atmosphere despite the added fee.More infoAmelia'sPrice: Expensive• Italian• Stoughton•4.7
- JJonCharlotte •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoMoved back to MA from NC, after 8 years. We've missed the Fresh Catch the whole time. Great food every visit and great prices year after year. The staff is always fantastic. The attached market carries the freshest seafood and meat around. Do not miss out on this local gem!More infoFresh Catch RestaurantPrice: Moderate• American• Mansfield•4.6
- WWayneGreater Boston •6 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis was our first time, but it won't be our last. Everything we had was the best and our server, Frank, was the perfect old-time, experienced waiter. There are so many items we want to try. Their list of specials makes choosing difficult. The swordfish and the mussels were the best we ever had.More infoLuciano'sPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Wrentham•4.8
