It was busy in the pub and yet the meal had not been 'churned' out as so many pubs do. The Yorkshire pudding was home made and freshly baked and was delicious, such a treat from the usual package versions you get. The chicken was succulent with some fabulous vegetables and plenty of gravy too. My father had a very generous portion of beautifully cooked seabass. Do yourself a favour - visit this pub! The service too was lovely. The staff are all attentive, professional and friendly. Great value too. All round 10/10.More infoMasons ArmsPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Fairford•4.7

- DHDavidHGloucestershire/Wiltshire •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoWe attended The Nook for our work Christmas lunch this year. Within our group we had a few different dietary requirements, all of which were met perfectly by the staff. They were very cautious and attentive where it came to ensuring we all had exactly what we needed. The staff were lovely and extremely professional- topping up our drinks and making sure to take away our dirty plates soon after we were all finished. The food was absolutely delicious and all cooked to our specification (Fillet of beef) We can’t wait to return again next year for our Christmas lunch again, if not sooner!More infoThe Nook On FivePrice: Very Expensive• British• Cheltenham•4.4
- KKathryn or KatieDorset •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 6, 2024For a classy but friendly treat I recommend the Ox Barn for lunch out. The set menu is creative and service is nicely paced - not too slow - efficient but relaxed. All the wait-staff were charming (in a good way!). The decor and facilities are contemporary and spotless, with comfy sofas for relaxing while waiting for a friend or after the meal. There is plenty of parking. Google Maps unfortunately took me to the far end of the estate within the village of Southcrop, rather than through the pastures on the other side of the farm/estate. And on both visits I found it difficult to find. Signs for THYME in the village are tasteful but too discreet, if you don't know that you should be looking for them! Met my brother here halfway between my home in Stroud and his near Didcot.More infoThe Ox BarnPrice: Very Expensive• British• Lechlade•4.7
