The Harwood Arms re-opened in September 2008 after some much needed refurbishment. This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery. The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. My first experience of this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. Food excellent, service brilliant and atmosphere was great. Prices are a little more expensive than other pubs but it’s worth it. The only thing that had a grey cloud was the moaning couple behind us that had nothing wrong with their food but wanted to moan for the sake of it. The staff handled it really well.

We had a fantastic roast dinner! Their sharing style roast boards are an absolute feast with everything beautifully prepared. I particularly enjoyed the deer shoulder. The wines on offer are also delicious and well priced.
