We are a warm, friendly pub situated in West Parley, Ferndown, serving traditional pub food every day till 10 pm. We have a wonderful, friendly team who are always happy to help. Families always welcome up to 9 pm, and we have a children's menu which includes a free dessert! We have a great selection of local cask ales, from The Dorset Brewing Company, and Ringwood Brewery, and run a collector card alongside the real ales where after 7 pints your 8th is free! My girlfriend and I went in a date here last night and it was incredible, the drinks were amazing and the waiting and bar staff were all happy for a chat and really seemed to love what they do. If I was to say anything negative it was that the live music made it difficult to have a conversation with my girlfriend sat 2 feet away and as such we had to leave before the 2nd group started rather than stay for more drinks. Other than that, we were each given a glass of Prosecco for the occasion of our date which we really appreciated and we will definitely come back soon

Great meal in lovely location. Restaurant elegant with a relaxed atmosphere. Menu not large but had a good varied choice. Food well cooked and beautifully presented. Reasonably priced. Only criticism would be the lack of vegetables with the meal - they were more of a garnish. Would have liked a side dish of veg especially as the meat portions were quite large. Would definitely recommend.
