Get your reservation and prepare for a great dinner. While there were many attractive specials the chef laid out as temptations, we went with an early bird filet mignon along with a Caesar salad and coconut crusted shrimp. Well prepared and expertly served. The kitchen and staff are in harmony here. Plus, the sunset view does not hurt. Your wallet will appreciate the value here, as well. - GGregvipLos Angeles •18 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe enjoy coming back when we visit Maui. The food is great, the location and the view are amazing and the service is always top shelf. This time, we split a salad and I had the Hawaiian Short Rib and my wife enjoyed “The Catch of the Day” Special. Both were excellent. The Pineapple Upside Down Cake for dessert topped off the meal in style. Our server was friendly and personable. She shared her story about running marathons which was very impressive. Al in all, we can’t wait to return.More infoThe Plantation House RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Hawaiian• Kapalua•4.8
- KKellyvipSan Francisco Bay Area •29 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe had a fabulous time and the food was fantastic! Our waiter Tad was knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations. The beet salad is delicious! We had the special fish which was moist, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. It was a preparation I wouldn’t normally choose, but I’m trying to eat healthier and normally lentils with vegetables wouldn’t be my “go to”, but this was so flavorful and satisfying. We also had the ribeye special with the herbed butter. Again, a dish cooked perfectly with wonderful flavors. The mashed potatoes were the best I have ever enjoyed! Noah, checked in on us and our meal and was quite engaging and very fun. We enjoyed our meal and the beautiful ambiance of Traverna. It’s not to be missed when on Maui and we will be back soon! Thank you!More infoTaverna - MauiPrice: Expensive• Italian• Kapalua•4.5
