Best Restaurants for Groups in South Street

The food was very tasty, but it lacked vegetables which is a sign of a balanced meal and a good restaurant. The service was fine ( they refused to replace one of the sides though that contained gluten). The whole cash only was very antiquated, but thankfully there was an ATM machine inside the restaurant (super weird). Also, we noticed this requirement completely by accident by reading a very fine print at the bottom of the menu. Luckily we had a debit card available. The place is pretty old and could use a renovation, but this is subjective and some people may like it. In Summary great tasting food in an outdated setting.

Excellent service Good food and great environment

We were greeted, seated and then treated to a lovely dining experience. We started with a couple of the specialty cocktails-Romarin and Nouveau Basilic: their pour was generous as our drinks lasted through our meals. A bonus of a basket of bread was brought to our table, such a rarity! Baguette, sourdough and what seamed a seasonal bread with cranberry and walnuts with beurre---seemed such a treat! Our waiter was attentive and made well informed dinner suggestions after asking us our preferences and we enjoyed the beef bourguignon; duck a l'orange and roasted chicken. Parc has made our top 10 list of places to eat while in Philly!

Highly recommend! We ate here the night before the Philly half marathon and could not have picked a better place! We arrived early for our reservation and were taken to our seats right away. Food was delicious, filling, and fairly priced. We enjoyed our meals so much we considered going back for our second night!

Excellent, interesting menu. Friendly, helpful service. Our only disappointment was our selected dessert being out of stock. Everything we tried was great.
