I recently dined solo at Blacklock Canary Wharf, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. I started with a delicious mocktail ,followed by a perfectly cooked fillet, tender and juicy at medium doneness. The sweet potatoes and beets with goats cured were absolutely outstanding. To finish, the bread and butter pudding with custard was the perfect indulgence. An all-around amazing meal with exceptional service.

With the pleasure of dining at Hawksmoor Wood Wharf to celebrate a special birthday, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The porterhouse was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The side dishes complemented the steak beautifully, each one thoughtfully prepared with attention to detail. The desserts were a highlight as well, particularly the indulgent chocolate plate that arrived with a candle, a lovely touch to make the evening even more memorable. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was impeccable. The staff went above and beyond to make the celebration feel truly special, showing genuine care and attention to every detail. Because it is not a huge restaurant, I always feel that when I eat here it is more intimate and personal. You are able to have a conversation without it being too noisy and I’ve always found the food to be a good quality. Sometimes the service is slow but generally we always leave the feeling satisfied.
