- RReneeVIPDenver / Colorado •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThe reviews I had read did no justice to the outstanding level of service and cuisine we experienced at Songbird last night with a party of six. Exceptional produce beautifully cooked. Stand-outs were piping hot dumplings with a delicate skin and bouncy interior, sesame prawn toast, beautifully balanced crab omelette and conpoy and lup cheong fried rice. The crisp skin chicken was voted the best we all had ever had - a must order. Mr Wongs had the monopoly of fine Cantonese food in Sydney up until now. The baton, has now been well and truly been passed to Songbird. Can’t wait to return.More infoSong BirdPrice: Very Expensive• Chinese• Double Bay•4.4

- FFrancesSydney •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe attended LB's to celebrate our birthdays. The staff, on entry, were polite and very welcoming. We were led to our table, which gave us a nice view of the Harbour Bridge. They have a short but varied cocktail list ... the cost, though, I feel, maybe a little high. I chose El Dorado .... very nice. We chose to share a starter and decided on the Salt & Pepper Squid. It was absolutely delicious. A very light batter and cooked perfectly so that the squid was lovely and tender. For the main, my partner chose the Steak Frittes and I, the Chicken Scallopini. The steak was of a decent size; cooked as requested and was lovely and tender. My partner thought that, for a main, overall, the dish was a little small. My chicken dish was considerably larger. It was well cooked with an abundance of mushrooms, pomme puree and a very tasty sauce. We added broccolini as a side dish. Being our birthdays, we were afforded a cute little chocolate "Happy Birthday" on top of our dessert. Overall, the food, staff and ambience was wonderful. The prices may be a little high for some, but we felt it well worth the visit.More infoLB's RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• North Sydney•4
- EEmmaSydney •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 21, 2024Celebrating our sister’s 60th birthday with family and friends at Margaret was an absolutely unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make the day special. The food was incredible - and a lot of it! And the service was friendly and flawless. It was a perfect way to mark this milestone birthday. I cannot recommend Margaret enough for any special occasion. Thank you to all at Margaret for making this day extraordinary!More infoMargaretPrice: Very Expensive• Modern Australian• Double Bay•4.7
- JJessicaSydney •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 19, 2024It was my first time at Yakitori Yurripi and I was amazed by how authentic and delicious the food was. We particularly enjoyed the Miso Cod and Pork Belly - both were sensational! Service was quick and friendly, and the ambience reminds me of an izakaya straight out of Japan. The only thing was that we felt 1.5 hours was a bit short for a booking, however the food is great and we will definitely be back.More infoYakitori YurippiPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Crows Nest•4.6
