Best Restaurants for Groups in Taylorsville

We had reservations at the parlor. The vibe is amazing! The decor is unbelievably fun. Not a lot of food options in that spot so we had some yummy holiday themed cocktails and then went to eat in the sports bar area. Food was really good. I had the chicken and waffles. I love that it was boneless, tender, juicy and cooked perfectly. Lemon pancakes were really good too. Would be 5 star if service were faster, but were patient and they were friendly. We'll be back for sure in Feb for the next theme in the parlor. Probably will come back and rent a simulator room for a party also.

We have enjoyed Bambara for many years. Our server was excellent. Our favorite dishes last night were the Shrimp al Ajillo and the Sticky Toffee Pudding, recommend!

Table of 9. We were seated immediately even though our entire group was slow at arriving. The waitress was attentive offering drinks while we waited for or entire party to arrive. The problems started when other than our waitress brought out our entrées. And proceeded to shout across the table what she was holding so that we could identify who it belong to. I personally as a diner, expect that my server remembers what dish goes to which guest at the table. We did not get a follow up after our food was served for quite some time. We had two missing ordered items when we brought this to our waitresses attention. She said oh I’ll just take that off your bill. Which that’s nice but no apology or if she had followed up after the food was served we might’ve been satisfied with what we had ordered. My dish was actually an appetizer and it was cold and it was a fried dish. A fried dish should not be served cold. So overall, not such a great experience.

There is no need for a reservation here. You walk right up and order at the counter and they bring your food to you at your table. The owner was amazing. He came out and spoke with us about each dish. When my husband asked for one of the recipes he gave it to him. He was very polite and very kind. The food was delicious. The Huckleberry sauce is to die for and while most people would think the huckleberry pie was the star we for sure enjoyed the bread pudding more. We will definitely be back. This was an amazing place with an amazing atmosphere and amazing food.

Menu has fewer fish options than it used to. Many shrimp and lobster choices however.
