The Harwood Arms re-opened in September 2008 after some much needed refurbishment. This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery. The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to.     We have been to The Three Horseshoes a few times now and always enjoyed great food, lovely service and a classically smart pub atmosphere, with log fires in winter and a sunny terrace in summer. An understandably shortish menu still manages to blend excellent pub food staples with a handful of more innovative starters and mains. There are also several delicious bar snacks to enjoy while deciding on bigger dishes from the menu. If we lived closer we would undoubtedly make our occasional visits more regular.

    Well I’ve wondered for a few years why this was my fiancés favourite restaurant and we finally got to experience it together. Food fantastic. Service excellent. Venue delightful. Don’t debate, go to daphnes for delicious Italian food.

    Everything was great, the tuna, sibas, praws! Amazing dips and bread, but Greek salad was floating in so much oil. Also, my favourite umbrella from my dad was stolen from that restaurant... :( but i would come back for food again for sure!

    We had a fantastic roast dinner! Their sharing style roast boards are an absolute feast with everything beautifully prepared. I particularly enjoyed the deer shoulder. The wines on offer are also delicious and well priced.
