Best Restaurants for People Watching in Central Scottsdale

The look of the restaurant is nice, however, the environment is VERY noisy because there is little to absorb sound so conversation and/or even hearing the servers can be challenging. At one point we had to all put our heads together - server, my spouse & myself - to hear the server's questions. Food is VERY good, flavorful and with a nice range of options for an array of dietary preferences. This clearly being the reason for a full house and diners enjoying the culinary offerings.

First time dining here - it was wonderful! The service, cocktails, apps and mains were on point! Tommy biscuits are to die for! So good! The restaurant has a cool vibe to it - the cherry on top is that the restaurant is Anthony Bourdain inspired. We’ll def be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed the "Steak Night" (or also called "Date Night") menu at STK. It's a great deal! 3-course menu for $69 per person including a bottle of Prosecco. We both had the shrimp cocktail appetizer which has 5 huge shrimp. For entrees we had the NY strip steak and Chilean sea bass - both exellent and enough to take some home. For dessert we shared the "Bag O Donuts" - loved the chocolate and caramel sauces. We also had excellent service. If you're in Old Town Scottsdale on Sunday-Thursday, definitely consider this great deal, BUT be sure to ask for it.

I had a MARVELOUS time dining with Cala. The drinks were out of this world, my favorite was the cocktail MANGO AMOR!! Highly recommended!!! Staff were super duper friendly which made my experience so freaking amazing!!!!! A++ The valet guy Cole was nice as well and did I forget this place is aesthetically pleasing!!! Thanks again! We like the breakfast/brunch very much! Dinner not so. At least in for our dinner, more than 2 times our food was ok. But breakfast, coffee and pastry are really good! Service is always good, too.
