- TTimothyLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoTo dine at Musso & Frank’s Grill is to have an experience like no other in LA: old world style, dishes that have long since disappeared from the menus of any other of its competitors and the pleasure of knowing that one is dining in a space that has probably catered for virtually every great name ever to have graced Hollywood in the course of the past century. Look beyond the cheap and tawdry pseudo glamour of the rest of the Hollywood strip and allow yourself the pleasure of an authentic experience you will never forget, long after the memory of all the dross of the surrounding razzmatazz has faded into oblivion. Worth every penny twice over.More infoMusso & Frank GrillPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Hollywood•4.8
- KKarenvipLos Angeles •9 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI've now been here two times and the food has been excellent overall. I could personally do without the frequent use of chili slices. Other than that, the flavors and textures are marvelous. The brioche bread and hummus are delectable. I feel like every dish is a slam dunk - too bad there isn't a sampler platter! The decor is lovely, a few discreet fabric panels might help with the noise as its a bit hard to hear the people across from you - the sound bounces around the cavernous space. The crowd seems very chic, a bit eccentric in a fun way and more adult - that's probably the price point keeping out the under 30 crowd.More infoSaffy'sPrice: Expensive• Middle Eastern• East Hollywood•4.8
- SsunLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoBacari GDL is hands down my favorite restaurant in L.A.! If you haven’t tried this place, you’re truly missing out. The food is consistently excellent every time I visit, and the ambience is both hip and incredibly fun. The staff here is exceptional—they make you feel like the most important guest, even when the place is packed. A special shoutout to Christian, Cal, and Gee—thank you for being such wonderful people. Your kindness and attentiveness always stand out. Oh, did I mention they are funny as well? I’m already looking forward to my next visit—see you all tomorrow!More infoBacari GDLPrice: Expensive• Italian• Glendale•4.7
- IIraPhiladelphia County •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoShirley Brasserie was a wonderful dining experience that paired the great atmosphere of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel with great food. The Restaurant occupies a quiet part of the Lobby area and is large enough to find seating but intimate enough to feel separated from other diners. The menu is spartan but focused, as is the wine list. The appetizers we had were first-rate and handsomely presented. I would recommend the chicken liver mousse, as it was special and hadn't seen it elsewhere. I consider myself an expert on duck and generally prefer it roasted, as many restaurants don't really have the expertise to properly sear it. Not true here. The duck was properly spiced and glazed and seared just right. For this style of preparation, I've not had better. The Shirley Brasserie is not inexpensive, but considering the quality of the food and service (which was also outstanding), I would rate it as a good value. Something for a special occasion.More infoShirley BrasseriePrice: Expensive• French American• Hollywood•4.6
