The NY vibe/ambiance definitely contributed to the experience. My one gripe is their policy toward the price fix menu. Everyone in the party must order it or no one can order it. That annoyed me because it is clearly a way to force diners to order more. My friend wanted the price fix and I wanted a la carte simply because the main course I wanted was not available on the PF menu. We were told no and therefore, had to order the bread and salad a la carte when those items were part of the PF menu. Aside from that, I would return in the future but it won't be my first choice.More infoThe AldermanPrice: Moderate• American• Midtown West•4.3

The service was great too, they were very attentive and were always ready to assist. the price for what I got was good. it’s a small restaurant, so I definitely recommend making a reservation, but it’s super cute and not too loud. - BBarbaravipNew York City •30 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoEverything was spot on for our dinner at Isabella’s. We were made to feel so welcome by everyone from servers to bussers to maitre d - even a trainee spotted a concern and immediately offered assistance. The food was excellent and generous for the price point in Manhattan. Stand outs were the roasted beets and endive salad. The homemade pasta was also cooked perfectly - al dente but not too much so. We will be back!More infoIsabelle’s OsteriaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Gramercy Park•4.6

The prices are actually reasonable for NYC which makes it even better. I will continue to come back during the week and on the weekends when there is a nice party vibe later in the night.More infoAinslie BoweryPrice: Expensive• Italian• NoHo•4.2
