Best Restaurants for Quiet Conversation in Forest Park

Had a wonderful time and all of the food was outstanding and the cocktails did not dissapoint! We had hummus, the whole fish, the tagliatelle pasta dish, and burnt honey profiterole for dessert.

Great meal with excellent service by Rosie and the staff. She even laughed when I asked her whether the Chocolate Mousse had antlers. Seriously, I have going to Hemmingway's for years and I don't think that I've ever had a bad meal there.

Really like this location. It was interesting that they were playing loud club music for early afternoon. Food always good.

It was perfect. A cold night, and not crowded in the restaurant. Our server (new to us) was very good. I wish I could remember his name (hair pulled back, earrings). We ordered the Brussel sprouts as an appetizer. We do not like the bacon on it and the kitchen made it for us without that. It is so good. We both ordered the mushroom & cheese gnocchi. We'd never had it before and it did not disappoint. It is an excellent addition to the menu. I usually get the Moroccan beef which is superb. Again, the gnocchi was exactly perfect. Just a lovely evening.

Definitely a great place to eat and meet up with friends. Our host, Georgia, was excellent and amazing! I love coming to Hubbard Inn for the holidays! Great staff. Everyone is amazing there.
