Blacklock a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in the heart of an old listed building that once housed the King’s Coachmakers on Bedford Street. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. Super attentive service. We were on a time limit as going to the theatre and managed to eat three courses in an hour and 15 which was brilliant! They kindly swapped my fries for sweet potato. Food was delicious and perfectly cooked. I really enjoyed the ambiance. A very enjoyable dining experience all round.

Great service. The steaks were delicious. We tried the peppercorn sauce and the one that was BBQ-like and both were good. I had the steak frites and my fries were perfect. The potatoes and Mac and cheese were just okay, a bit bland. I would recommend trying the steaks and perhaps a different side from what we ordered!
