Walk-ins welcome and encouraged. 2's can reserve for Sunday lunch only Tired of the loosely French inspired humdrum of restaurants popping up across the city of London? Do you like holidays? Do you like cold drinks and warm service? If you've answered yes to one or more of these then perhaps Tollington's can refresh both your pallet and your mindThe idea came from a mirror in an antiques market and a love for a more informal approach to dining, the result is a chippy in North London with old church pews bolted to the walls to be leaned on and eaten from. The focus is on fish but the menu transcends just fish, leaving no stone unturned in the never ending quest for flavour Split between two rooms, the front the engine, the kitchen and bar shared by customers as they perch on bar stools and enjoy dinner and a show. The back room - lower lighting, lower seating, a slight calm compared to the front room. Works of art from friends of the restaurant adorn the walls and floors

The Ivy restaurant has been a firm fixture on London’s dining and social scene since 1917. The restaurant and private room upstairs are the epitome of real glamour. A shimmering central dining bar in the restaurant draws admiring attention, and the signature harlequin stained-glass windows, oak panelling and striking contemporary art collection ensure the longevity of this very British of dining institutions. Executive Chef Gary Lee creates balanced seasonal menus, featuring Ivy classics, but accounting for today’s tastes, incorporating more Asian dishes, salads and vegetables, and the advent of a “sea and shells” section. Director Fernando Peire leads a strong and experienced team to deliver the unfaltering service for which The Ivy has become well known over the years. The Ivy welcomes customers without reservations at the central dining bar, where the A La Carte and Set menus are both served.

Culinary artistry, inspired by historic Greco-Roman feasts. The Mediterranean’s finest ingredients are given centre-stage, and dishes are finished at table to theatrical acclaim. Breath-taking interiors by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, where classical myths are retold through a modern palette of the most refined materials, and comforts to sink into. Dramatic artworks by Damien Hirst soar over the dining area, whilst the eye falls on piece after piece of original, antique sculpture.

Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old brothel, we take the best meat in the country from the award winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Sunday Roast almost as good as Mum's.Bookings and Walk-Ins available:Monday - Friday 12:00 - 15:00pmMonday - Friday 17:00 - 22:30pmBookings up to 8 guests (Mon-Thurs)Bookings up to 6 guests (Friday)Saturday: 12:00 - 23:00Bookings for lunch and pre-theatre from 12noon to 23:00Bookings up to 6 guestsSunday 12:00 - 20:00Bookings all day for up to 6 guests
