Dukes 92 was originally a stable block for the horses delivering foods off barges to the Merchants warehouse opposite. From these humble begininngs the building now houses Manchester's original bar and grill which has been refurbished and extended three times since its opening in 1991 the space today is informal and airy with the buildings heritage being reflected in a subtle blend of antique furniture and modern fixed seating.With its most recent refurbishment Dukes can now properly call itself a venue with two bars, three private events spaces, a grill restaurant, excellent smoking facilities, canalside terrace and balcony overlooking the canal basin.     This was our 4th visit every time has been excellent. There was a very slight delay in our dessert choice being delivered, I didn’t actually complain but they took 10% of the bill anyway. I would highly recommend these venue

    Really enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff were great energetic and friendly. Enjoyed the cocktails and lager whilst waited to be seated for our meal. The food was fantastic we upgraded to the chateaubriand which was a great choice but could of had more sides offered than the 2 as wasn't enough to share really but overall a great evening The champagne was a nice gesture from staff to celebrate our night. Thanks again and would definitely recommend..

    Dined here with my girlfriend for our valentines meal, my steak was perfect however my girlfriend's steak came slightly overcooked; easy mistake to make it was very busy. We mentioned this to the staff and they were great. They allowed her to finish what she liked and gave us a full replacement meal with no extra charge even gave her a filet steak when she initially ordered the rump. The lady who served us was fantastic unfortunately I was unable to get her name however she was kind , understanding and reassuring when we mentioned the issue with her steak. Amazing customer service would recommend this to anyone looking for an amazing meal.

    I don’t normally write reviews but oh my days this deserves one Everyone was 10/10 I had the chicken roast dinner with chipolatas and Yorkshire pudding and my girlfriend had the kebab and we both really enjoyed it To finish it off I got the chocolate orange cheese cake and mrs got the sticky toffee pudding and yeah both unreal too If you haven’t been , go, If you’ve already been, go again
