Best Sunday Lunch Restaurants in Parkside

We'd been planning to go here for a couple of years, but kept having to postpone. they've really pared down their menu offerings over time, and there were some things that I wish I'd had the opportunity to try. The duck spring rolls were excellent. Also really like the soft fried tofu we added to the garlic noodles, but felt like they should have had more garlic. The chicken banh mi was tasty, but not very authentic and definitely needed more pickled veg and more acid

If you've been to Burma Love or Burma Superstar, Teakwood delivers on amazing Burmese food. The coconut rice and curry dish make for a winning combination; and you can never go wrong ordering the tea leaf salad, samusas and garlic noodles. While we were disappointed with the spring roll as the rice paper was noticeably hard like cardboard, we were pleasantly surprised by how tasty the carmelized cabbage side dish turned out. Overall, the food, service and decor / ambiance make for a great dining experience.

Little Joe's, across the street, is taking some of their business, but this restaurant is a gem. The NY steak and lamb were cooked perfectly. The polenta with the lamb is delicious. Had four different desserts and they were all above par. The service was outstanding. Give this restaurant a try. You won't be sorry.
