- AACumbria •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoAfter the soup, I chose the beef roast. A good choice as the food was fantastic. The portions were very generous - so much so, I failed to eat it all! ( I should have gone for the small roast beef and left some room for dessert) A varied menu with the expected options, plus some more unusual dishes available. The service was efficient without being intrusive or hurried. All in all, a most enjoyable evening in a cosy setting. Thanks to the friendly staff and, although I am not local, I'm sure it won't be long before I'm back.More infoCrooklands Hotel - the restaurantPrice: Moderate• British• Kendal•4.7

- SSandraManchester/Greater Manchester •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoWent to celebrate an 80th birthday. All 4 of us enjoyed our meals, which were delicious. Had very attentive service by our server, Chris, who was very pleasant, respectful and gave us excellent customer service: even noticed the 80th birthday card and presented the 'birthday girl' with a Happy Birthday plate of ice cream and csnt floss, made her night. Thank you Chris.More infoEwe Restaurant and BarPrice: Expensive• British• Horwich•4.5
- PPaulaLancashire •1 review5.0Dined on Feb 3, 2025We was lucky to have a table by the window overlooking a lovely clear view over the bay. Booked for my mum's 87th birthday and had an afternoon tea. Good selection of sandwiches on white and brown bread. They had even changed one of the fillings advertised to one we preferred as mentioned on our booking notes. Warm scones, quiche, sausages rolls and a nice selection of cakes. Pot of tea each or coffee if preferred. Only thing missing was the glass of prosecco which was advertised but we were not bothered by this as none of us are drinkers. Nice way to spend a couple of hours or so.More infoAspect Bar & BistroPrice: Moderate• Bistro• Lancaster•4.8
- HHenkCaribbean •5 reviews4.0Dined on Oct 2, 2024We had excellent food, sea bream and chicken, friendly and very service oriented staff. Unfortunately we got a Chinese couple next to us whose smacking, slurping and spitting of their starter was so loud and disgusting that we decided to leave earlier than planned … hope a better experience next time.More infoHillthwaitePrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Windermere•4
