Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Forest Row

Ordered an other coffee & it never turned up. Would be good if drinks turned just before the food so you can drink as well as eat.

We're always met with fantastic customer service at Tottington Manor. Delicious food and lovely surroundings. Well always choose them for a special occasion as it's a a guaranteed excellent meal.

The meal was fantastic, I had hummus then rib eye steak and my wife had mackerel pate and a chicken burger. All of the food was served beautifully and tasted lovely. My only criticism was that it was so nice I ate it all and didn't have any room for the delicious desserts that were on offer! This was also served by a friendly lady who was the perfect waitress (ie checked on us regularly but not too much). I'm sorry but we didn't know her name. We're already planning our next visit.

Lunch for 2. Excellent location, comfortable and welcoming environment, tables nicely spaced, well thought-out menu and specials, good cooking, portions and presentation on the plate, decent wine list at sensible prices, charming staff, not rushed although we lingered until gone 5pm, overall a very satisfying and enjoyable experience. Value for money and highly recommended.

Brilliant lunch in a calm atmosphere with excellent service. We will return as we are local
