This meant we didn’t have to queue as we’ve seen happen previously. Although the afternoon tea tiers don’t look much, we found it filling so much so we had take away the sweet treats to consume later. Excellent service and there was no sense of eat up and leave. The sandwiches were nice and the scones were great, they were warmed and served with jam and clotted cream. We had the festive afternoon tea which meant the cakes were festive themed, I would prefer them be the usual cakes. I wasn’t a fan of the Christmas pudding or mince pie flavour. Overall, it was great. I would go back for regular afternoon tea but not the festive one due to the cakes.
