Best Restaurants with Bar Seating in Bellaire

I took my mother here for her birthday Jan 5th, 2025 and we had an outstanding dinner experience. We went on a Sunday at 5:30pm and there wasn’t many other tables there, and throughout the entire night even when the restaurant filled up, the noise level was still low, very intimate vibe. Throughout the dinner, we had the manager constantly checking up on us to make sure everything was good, very friendly and receptive to any feedbacks we gave her. We ordered 2 drinks, 5 order of nigiris (each nigiri order comes in 2), 2 maki roll dishes, and two main dishes, and 1 dessert (got a bonus dessert because it was mom’s birthday), total came out to be $273 (without tip) and I think that’s pretty reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend the Nigiris, very fresh and delicious. For our main dishes, I ordered a Miso Black Cod and found bones in it, so be careful while consuming this dish, but overall, great seasoning and flavor. We had another exceptional meal. I spoke to the owner and asked if they ever made lasagna and he told me that he would put it on special this week. I can’t wait to try it. The food here is excellent.

This was my first time at Uchiko. It exceeded expectations. My guest & I dined Omakase style and the selections were Ahhmazing. There were only a couple that we didn’t like. When we didn’t fully enjoy our server offered replacements-OUTSTANDING service! We did a weekend happy hour which pretty quiet. Parking was easy complimentary valet or self-park. Ummm, yes of course I recommend.

The food, the service, and the atmosphere was excellent as usual. Highly recommend.

Wonderful service and ambiance with the Christmas tree! Our waitress was fantastic!
