Our experience at Shaws was absolutely amazing for any night - and to experience it on Valentine’s Day shows that the restaurant really is top quality. The food , from appetizers to entrees, and the wine were all wonderful and our waiter made the entire experience even more enjoyable. He was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and did not rush us through the experience. Shaws used to be a regular place for us and after this great experience it will be again. Well done!More infoShaw's Crab House & Oyster Bar - ChicagoPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• River North (Chicago)•4.8

Firstly, it’s beautiful in the restaurant, and there’s not a bad seat in the place. It’s bright, airy, luxurious and so well-designed with intricate and dazzling fixtures. Everything we’ve ever ordered has been delicious, and it’s always played so beautifully. During this visit, we ordered the burger and lobster roll (and split them since they’re both so good). Both were seasoned well and the burger had element such as peppers that provided it with an elevated and different flavor that was so savory and delicious. The lobster roll was well seasoned and cooked to perfection - very tender. Last but certainly not least, the service here is always outstanding. Our server Jefferson was so welcoming, kind and prompt. Jefferson made my sister’s birthday very special! We were surprised with some hamachi cones and key lime pie thanks- both of which were out-of-this-world delicious, and we will be ordering those when we return! Best key lime pie we have ever had! Thank you so much to Jefferson for making our day!More infoBar MarPrice: Expensive• Spanish• River North (Chicago)•4.6

Our party of 4 came to HaiSous on a snowy evening while we were in town for work and wanting to explore Chicago beyond the downtown core. We got a wonderful meal in an interesting location. We ordered the set menu—two of the vegetarian option and two of the regular—and that was absolutely the way to go, as it got us tastes of nearly everything on the menu and saved us from having to choose. The dishes were incredibly creative and truly delicious. Hard to pick a favorite, but if I had to, it'd be a showdown between the eggplant and the veggie curry.More infoHaiSous Vietnamese KitchenPrice: Expensive• Vietnamese• Pilsen•4.7
