Best Restaurants with Bar Seating in The Annex

Never in my life did I expect to see Jiggs dinner on a menu!! Was very curious about a restaurant’s take on newfie dishes - bar clams definitely delivered elevated takes without compromising the integrity of the dish!!! Service was a little slow but I think it’s because someone more notable was sitting beside us. Can’t wait to bring my nana here she will think it’s crazy a restaurant is serving up boiled dinner

Delicious experience. Each dish had so much amazing flavours and the prices were also attractive, it was the best being able to enjoy all delicious flavours and extraordinary dishes without having to break bank. Thank you for existing. Will be back for more date nights

The service and ambiance was great. Notable dishes were the challah and fluke and fennel. The fries were perfectly crispy and the broccoli was very flavourful. However, the ribeye was average, it lacked flavour but cooked properly yo medium rare.

Love it here my favorite restaurant in Toronto. Working a very NYC vibe in Kensington market with phenomenal staff, delicious food in a fun comfortable arty room. Sat at the kitchen bar: a front row seat to watching the chefs do their magic. Last night was a special tasting menu, highlights for me were the Crueler with Crab, the green chili, pancetta and collard paparadelle and the delicious sour dough. A perfect evening with a shout out to Rob the sommelier and my waiter who made the night with his attentive, friendly and knowledgeable service.
