Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Downtown / North Loop

Great service and food. Enjoyed the night out with friends. Was cozy after a snow storm.

Our server, Madison was amazing. I am a steak-eater, and my guest is a vegetarian. We were able to put together a filling and gourmet meal of multiple appetizers, entrees and desserts that fit the bill perfectly! The Denver Steak and the Aligot in particular were out of this world. The chocolate cake was impressive, but the chocolate sundae was a great way to wrap up our evening! The team was able to accommodate our request for a quiet, comfortable both. Both my guest and I commented on how unique and classy the interior was, the service, from seating, bar service, to valet was outstanding. P.S. Steak is not a "on the cheap" evening out, but for the experience, quality of service and food it is a bargain!

We were super impressed with their new monthly special! For $29, two people get to pick 1 appetizer, 2 side salads or soup, and 2 entrees. (All from a list of selections) Not only was it a great deal, but they were also new and delicious items! We loved the "Dirty Sodas" as well - so flavorful! It was another great night and we extremely enjoyed Keith as our server. We had a blast - so many laughs, great conversations, amazing food, and wonderful atmosphere!

Chianti Grill continues to provide a consistent fine dining experience when many other restaurants have gone down hill. Our server was delightful. Setting was lovely. My only complaint was the food wasn’t as hot as it should have been. It was still good.

Most lobby restaurants are not the greatest experience. The Milwaukee, however, was a pleasant surprise. From a gracious hostess to a joyful waitress, to a very, very good meal for the four of us. The only food negative was a relatively bland dressing on the Caesar salad. T”My pappardelle was outstanding and the others felt the risotto, burger and salmon were very fine.
