Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Farmingdale

Our food was delicious… the 4 of us all ordered different things & everyone loved their meal & drinks … a big improvement since we were last there a few a year back… we will definitely be back again… love the new menu too

Lamani is consistently excellent. The restaurant is very pretty and spacious, the food is top notch, and the service is extremely attentive. We were with another couple and two of us had the grilled halibut. It was cooked just right. My wife had the octopus, and my friend's wife had the salmon tar tar.Everyone very-much enjoyed their dinner.

First visit to Brasserie, and will be first of many. Hands down best French on LI. Went as a party of 5, and all meals were exceptional! Appetizers: Seared foie gras is the real deal and generously portioned. Baked camembert generated oohs and aahs. Mains: Filet mignon--fine cut and perfectly grilled. Cassoulet--excellent confit and perfect ratio of beans/meat. Duck Magret: tender and delicious--what you hope for in a LI duck. Bass Filet--melts in your mouth. Chicken cordon bleu: lightly breaded and fried and perfectly executed. All dishes well-presented. Table visit from chef-owner Aless is a special touch that shows class and caring! Our server Michael was a real pro! All in all an excellent experience and can't stop raving about it. Opened last year, Aless and Justin are for real! Can't wait to go back!

We had a 6:30 reservation and from the time we sat down to the time we left it was a great experience! We started with the calamari appetizer which was fried perfectly and the addition of cherry pepper “chips” (sliced cherry peppers lightly dredged in the calamari coating, and then fried) was a nice pop of heat. It added another layer of flavor that was unexpected, but very welcome. My wife got the Steak Frittes. The steak was cooked perfectly and fries had great flavor. I got the whole branzino and was not disappointed! The fish was cooked perfectly and the taste was phenomenal! We will definitely be returning!
