Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in San Marcos

I took my mom to Sunday brunch at The Pony Room to celebrate her birthday. Our server, Jacqueline, was excellent. Every one of her suggestions was spot on, especially the Carajillo cocktail. She made our visit a very special one. Thank you!

The evening was perfect! Seated right away, a nice table, service was excellent! It was our anniversary and we were treated royally! Everything was delicious from the Parker house rolls, salads and the Beef Wellington is to die for! It is a very large serving so we split it and we were both stuffed! We were also treated to a delicious chocolate cake for our Anniversary! It is very expensive but for a once-in-awhile splurge or a special occasion it is worth it!!

Great over-all with excellent service. Would have preferred a more varied menu with a couple of additional entrees- possibly a chicken option? and possibly a vegan option. Ceasar salad, bread and soup were very good~ and the flavored butters. A little chilly, but not bad considering is so open air inside. Savanah was a wonderful server xoxo

We loved the night. Music was smooth. Service was spectacular. We sat on the patio and loved it all. We will be back!

Wanted a quiet area where we three friends could chat and eat. A corner booth was perfect. Our server Ingrid was personable and professional. Our entrees were delicious and arrived quickly. Loved my Shrimp & Crab Louie salad! Impressed by the ambiance of the dining room. The men's restroom was immaculate.
