SPIRITED DINING AND DRINKS IN SANTA FEIn 1882, Abraham Staab, a European immigrant who became one of Santa Fe’s most prosperous merchants, built a Victorian mansion on property that now belongs to La Posada. Abraham’s elegant wife, Julia, entertained local society and visiting dignitaries in incomparable style. Legend has it that Julia so loved her home that she has never left it. Today, we celebrate Julia Staab as our muse and honor her name and legendary hospitality with the opening of Julia, A Spirited Restaurant & Bar. The restaurant features innovative, locally sourced dishes as well as an extensive selection of fine wines and spirits.

My wife and I had dinner at Geronimo last night. The food, service and ambiance were outstanding. The building is unique and is a great location for this type of dining. We had a table in the bar area and it was comfortable and was very cozy. Geronimo’s billing as the best dining in NM is well deserved. We have eaten at multiple Michelin restaurants and this restaurant is on par. If in Santa Fe, try to eat here. Highly recommended.

We had an excellent “before Desert Chorale performance” meal at Pink Adobe and it was simply amazing. The enchiladas - chicken for one of us and shrimp for the other. Both were some of the best enchiladas we have ever had (and we have eaten our fair share of enchiladas). The shrimp were probably the better of the two if we had to choose. They were cut in to chunks (easier to take a bite), seasoned well and flash fried. So tender and juicy! Paired with a crisp Albariño it made a great dining experience. We’ll be back soon!

We walked a few blocks from our hotel at night. Our wonderful server named Sean helped us get there over the phone! He stayed on the phone until we arrived & he even waited for me to get the car, to walk my dear elderly friend right to the car from the restaurant upstairs!! Best service I’ve ever had!!
