Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in St. Albert

This was our second visit to this Keg location, and we are just as impressed as the first visit. We were seated in b there lounge, as it was Valentine’s Day and seating was limited, even though we booked a week in advance. We still had a private table with lots of room. We had the mushroom dip as our appetizer which we thought was very good,,, not as good as those delicious prime rib Yorkshire appetizers the Keg took off the menu,,, I wish the Keg would bring them back!!! We had the featured French onion steak as our main course and it was amazing. The steak was cooked to perfection topped off with the caramelized onions… to die for!! Our server was very friendly and attended to our table. We will be back… once again. The keg impressed! 5 stars

Best described as kicked up comfort food with some twists. Food was tasty and hot, service was fabulous, pricing is fair, ambience is good, overall a solid go to location.

Once again, Ruth’s Chris delivered an incredible dining experience. My wife, two daughters, and I came in for a Valentine’s date, and it was no surprise to find the restaurant fully booked—good thing I made our reservations back in January! As always, we were promptly seated, and this time, we had the pleasure of having Emilio as our server. While every visit has been fantastic, Emilio truly took the experience to another level. His exceptional service, attention to detail, and spot-on recommendations made the night even more memorable. The food, of course, was outstanding. My wife’s petite filet was cooked to perfection, my 16oz ribeye was full of flavor, and the kids' menu offered fantastic options like steak and salmon—something our daughters absolutely loved. While the food at Ruth’s Chris is always a highlight, what keeps us coming back is the overall experience and top-tier service. Tonight was no exception, with Emilio and his team making it a truly special evening. Looking forward to our next visit!

Our experience at the Keg is always good and we have eaten an multiple locations in the Edmonton area. Today our service was fantastic!!! The waitress was quite attentive and polite! We were however seated right in front or fireplace in the lounge side, it was romantic at first, but after about 15 min it was was very hot and hard to enjoy our meal, even the ice melted in our glass in about 10 min. We did eventually ask for it to be shut off half way through our meal. If you are seated here make sure it is not for long definitely not for the duration of the meal. We had a hard time enjoying our food and drinks because of the heat. Our meal was served in a timely manor and we did enjoy the flavors and plating, our steak was a little over cooked, but not enough to complain about. The seasonal veggies were delightful!! We enjoyed the desserts and as always the cheese cake was our favorite and we absolutely love the raspberry topping seved today and we think it should be a regular feature!! Thanks for making our Valentine’s Day less of a chore for both of us as we have hectic schedules!! 💘

Yummy with great service! Perfect for an amazing lunch. Lobster bisque soup was Amazing. Enjoyed our French water. Great stories of working in Paris. Totally delightful lunch!!
