Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Sugarhouse

Cozy mountain feels and tasty alpine cuisine to match. Good cocktails and wine list. More upscale than other restaurants in the village but still very easy going.

First restaurant we tried on our visit to SLC to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The restaurant is classy. From the hostess, the Coat check, the beautiful ambiance, I loved this place. We ordered various Tapas versus mains. The tuna tar tar was the best I have ever had. My husband and I also loved the rolls and preserves. Not sure If I’ve ever had such soft fluffy goodness. The owner stopped by our table to apologize for running out of one of their apps and compd us an order of crab cakes. Totally not necessary but again, classy! If you haven’t been…you’re missing out. I only with they had a Kimi’s in Phoenix.

We have always liked going to Stoneground. The service and food are exceptional. This was the first time that my family has been there. They said they will be back.

Food was on point - absolutely delicious. Staff, ambience, menu, live piano- perfection!

The absolute BEST!!! Can’t wait to go back! Food was so delicious, the serve was spot on. Felt cozy and charming. Not too noisy but also didn’t feel like I was in a library. Absolutely love this place!!!
