- KKaia RoseNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoMy friends and I recently attended an amazing pasta-making class at Aunt Jake’s with the incredible Chef Anthony, and it was such a fun and memorable experience! Chef Anthony not only taught us how to make pasta from scratch but also kept the whole class laughing throughout. His humor was the perfect touch, making the learning process even more enjoyable. He had everyone smiling as he shared tips, tricks, and a few hilarious stories from his time in the kitchen. The hands-on part of the class was a blast! We learned how to make pasta dough, roll it out, and shape it into beautiful creations. Chef Anthony’s clear instructions and funny anecdotes made it feel effortless, even for us beginners. We also ordered separate dishes, which were delicious, and got to take home the pasta we made to cook later. The pasta, drinks, and dessert we enjoyed at the end of the class were the perfect reward for all our hard work. The warm, welcoming atmosphere at Aunt Jake’s, combined with Chef Anthony’s lively personality, created an unforgettable evening. If you’re looking for a fun night out that’s both entertaining and educational, I can’t recommend this class enough. Chef Anthony’s humor and expert guidance made the experience even more enjoyable.More infoAunt Jake's Pasta ExperiencePrice: Moderate• Contemporary Italian• Upper East Side•4.9
- DDianeNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoOverall fantastic food, service, drinks & manager was present & making sure everyone was having a good time. It was packed for brunch, but our server was so accommodating & never rushed us. Only criticism is it’s a bit loud, but if you’re having fun, who cares!More infoThe Smith - MidtownPrice: Moderate• American• Midtown East•4.7
- DDianeVIPNew York City •24 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoHaving experienced Alsatian cuisine many times at its source, my wife and I are delighted with Chef Philippe Roussel’s approach, characterized by lightness and a certain elegance. No comfort food here. One will also find non-Alsatian offerings on the extensive menu. The team out front is both professonal and pleasant and the room is beautifully decorated. Nous sommes tres, tres content.More infoCafe d'AlsacePrice: Moderate• French• Upper East Side•4.8
- JJaneLondon •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoIf you want a real treat, look no further. From the wonderfully presented drinks at the bar, to the amazing waiting staff (shout out to Toni) to the sumptuous food, we couldn’t fault it. The ambience was old school. We shared a seafood platter for 4 to start. It was 10/10. 2 of us had the lamb chops (best I’ve ever tasted) & 2 had the steaks (delicious) and we ordered creamed spinach and whipped potatoes. We had just enough room for deserts and coffee. We never felt rushed and nothing was too much trouble. What a wonderful dining experience we had.More infoSmith & Wollensky - New YorkPrice: Expensive• American• Midtown East•4.6
- TTylerNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoI made an reservation and arrived about 15 minutes early which allowed us to enjoy some time at the bar. The bar staff were absolutely amazing! Unfortunately, we waited 43 minutes past our scheduled time before I mentioned to the bartender that no one had come to seat us. The young lady who checked us in seemed a bit flustered at first but eventually realized she hadn’t come to get us when the table was ready. After being seated, it took a while for someone to come over for our drink orders. Once we finally got our drinks, there was another wait to place our food order. The food was fantastic, but the service needs improvement—particularly with a more reliable hostess and servers. The bar staff are doing a great job, but they can’t handle everything on their own. Overall, despite these few hiccups, our experience was fantastic, and I would definitely return!More infoOpheliaPrice: Moderate• American• Midtown East•4.2
