Best Restaurants with a Vibrant Bar Scene in Flushing

The food here is always great. I had the lamb and sea (lamb chops and shrimp) which was one of the specials. The lamb was cooked just as I asked (medium) and was a nice portion, along with 5 or 6 shrimp, mashed potatoes and broccoli. I also had the mussels for an appetizer, some of the best I have had. Everyone at our table was too full for dessert. In fact, 3 out of the 5 of us took home leftovers. Nick’s Bistro remains one of our favorite restaurants both for the food and the value, as well as the friendly, attentive wait staff.

Good food, great staff. Been dining there since it opened many years ago. We have used their private dining room for family events and have always been pleased. And very moderately priced.

Whether you are on a date, out with friends or celebrating with family, you can always count on a great time at Bourbon Street. The ambience makes it a special place to be. The food is delicious and the service is even better. They can accommodate small and large parties and have several dining areas.

I ordered the petite filet mignon (medium) and sautéed mushrooms... It as delicious!!!!!!

Food is 5 star. Service is 5 stars. Everything is appropriate for a 5 star rating … except… one thing…. When I bring a special bottle of wine in for my birthday… don’t charge me $45 for a corking fee! $10 is standard. $25 is upper tier… $45 is stupid. Seriously that’s my only complaint. I go to Christos because it is superb quality. I am fine with paying more for high quality. But $45 for a corking fee… not reasonable.
