- DdanNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agowe've been a few times. every one has been outstanding! window tables have a spectacular view of the bridge & lower manhattan, with the east river ferries docking so close you could almost touch them. catch dom on piano if you can; he's been playing there for decades and with good reason. the best wait staff you'll find anywhere! stunning entrance plantings at the end of the cobblestone drive. oh yeah, the chow... last night, nantucket bay scallops for appetizer, sea bass for main course, "the bridge" for dessert, plus additional on-the-house items. all excellent. russian caviar for those with too much disposable income. don't forget: bring your home equity line of credit or similar. well worth it. go big or go home.More infoThe River CafePrice: Very Expensive• American• DUMBO•4.9

- TTrishvipNew York City •89 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAlways a great meal with fantastic service at this and all the Cecconi's locations that I have frequented worldwide. We were happy to get a table with a view and try some creative cuisine. The whipped ricotta with truffle was superb. I feel like a lot of restaurants have the same menus these days and the chef really puts his own spin on some basic items and really makes them mouth watering. Quite the enjoyable experience!More infoCecconi's DumboPrice: Moderate• Contemporary Italian• DUMBO•4.5
