Best Restaurants for Handcrafted Cocktails in Scripps Ranch

This was my second visit in 3 weeks. Today there were 3 of us - I and 1 of my guests were here with me a few weeks ago- a business reunion of sorts after a decade. Today, I invited another friend who also knew my guest. Both were, or are elected officials at some time in their careers. Both times I had the Thai Peanut salad and the Doctor Mule cocktail. Both were as outstanding and flavorful as they were on my first visit. My guests were both pleased with their choices. To be honest I don’t remember what they ate. The tall ceilings make it a little difficult to hear- but not impossible. I will return.

I’ve been here a few times now. Love the location and the vibe. Food is excellent for the most part. Nothing is perfect, but that goes for every restaurant. Great service, very welcoming and professional. I actually make it a point to come here every time I’m in San Diego.

I’ve been eyeing this restaurant for a while and wanted to come since people dining there looked like they were enjoying the atmosphere and food. I was not disappointed We were celebrating two birthdays. The food was very good - spiced well, great value, large servings and very reasonably priced. The service was excellent - rarely had to request refills - he was there and taking care of it before we asked. The patio provided our own private party - gas heaters for those who requested them and everyone just got to relax, be served and enjoyed each others’ company. We definitely will be back - thank you for a fun and great afternoon.

I have not been here in a few year’s but San Diego Tiki Ladies met here 2 years ago so we came back. Wow! What a difference. The Paper Boat was very good and we all could not say enough about the food. Definitely worth it to go just for that.

Very nice restaurant. Small with limited lunch menu. Excellent service. Should have had great views, but was a bit foggy / cloudy the day we were there.
