- SSteveMinneapolis - St. Paul •30 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe waited for our table quite a while even with the reservation. We didn’t care because they serve us drinks and cocktails. Great table nice warm heaters. Excellent service the food was prompt and so creative. What a fusion of a restaurant this is. You better get a reservation cause it’s busy and tight.More infoSalt + Lime Del MarPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Del Mar•4.4
- DDebbySan Diego •15 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI have to say that Brian and the West End staff went above and beyond to make my husband's birthday celebration the BEST! We've been dining at West End for years, and tonight's meals (all 6 of them) were truly delicious. 3 of us had salmon, 1 had meatloaf, 1 steak, and 1 member of our party asked for a custom pasta with oil and vegetables. To the person, everyone was extremely pleased with their meal. I brought in a cake for the occasion, and Brian and staff placed it on a fancy plate, drizzled with extra chocolate and presented it to the birthday boy (with a candle of course). I cannot say enough to thank Brian, the chefs in the kitchen, and all the staff for their 5 star rated service!More infoWest End Bar & KitchenPrice: Moderate• American• Del Mar•4.7
- AAnnVIPSan Diego •8 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoI love True Food though often find it a little pricey. But the food is healthy and delicious. However, we had the new lunch special with a wrap and half a soup or salad and a non-alcoholic spritzer for $19.95. The soup, salad and spritzers were very good but the wraps were underwhelming. Dry with a thick, hard whole wheat pita wrapping basically a salad, so I would not recommend them. We told our waiter and hopefully he expressed our disappointment to the chef. However, we will return as generally we are very happy with the food, service and ambiance, though both SD locations can be loud at times.More infoTrue Food Kitchen - San Diego UTCPrice: Expensive• American• La Jolla•4.5
- RRAYANVIPSan Diego •22 reviews4.0Dined on Feb 21, 2025The scallops and crab cakes are excellent! The bread was not fresh. They just warmed it up. The crudo not so much. Little pricey I think. The place has so much potential however. I would come again for drinks and get the crab cakes and scallops again!More infoSea & SkyPrice: Expensive• Californian• La Jolla•4.4
